Aquapool Titrant Solution for Alkalinity

To use the Aquapool Alkalinity Titrant, start by taking a sample of the pool water using the kit's cylindrical tube up to the 25 mL mark. Next, add 5 drops of the Alkalinity Indicator reagent to the sample and swirl gently until the water turns completely blue. Immediately after, take the bottle of Aquapool Alkalinity Titrant and begin adding the product drop by drop, strictly counting each added drop and swirling the tube in circles after each drop to homogenize the mixture. Continue dripping and counting until the color of the water suddenly changes from blue to a permanent pink. As soon as the color changes, stop the test and multiply the total number of drops counted by 10 to obtain the final result in ppm, keeping in mind that the ideal value for the pool should be between 80 and 120 ppm (equivalent to 8 to 12 drops).
