OUR HISTORY
Since 1987, we have had an incredible chemistry with Brazil.

First, it is important to highlight that our nearly four-decade history is defined by our pride in being a truly Brazilian company. As part of the Group Lima & Pergher, we operate in a highly competitive market, providing increasingly comprehensive and effective cleaning, sanitization, and hygiene solutions for both homes and businesses. 1987
The beginning of Start

We began in a garage in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, manufacturing automotive cleaning products, under the leadership of chemical engineer Fábio Pergher, who still signs our labels today.

1989

Acquisition of the first forklift.

1990

Launch of our first consumer product line.

Cover of the Brazilian magazine Pequenas Empresas & Grandes Negócios.



1999/2000

Acquisition and relocation to the Industrial District.(26,446.19 m²).



2001

Business merit of the state of Minas Gerais.



2002

Expansion of the first facility of the Industrial District.



2003

Expansion of the second industrial facility of the Industrial District.



2004

Acquisition of the first automated large-volume packaging line.



2005

Establishment of a technical department to serve institutional clients.



2006

Launch of the Qualimilk line.



2007

Opening of the first Repet packaging factory (5,276.87 m²).



2008

Construction of the first Distribution Center (5,500 m²).




2009

Asseptgel explodes in the market, becoming a best-selling brand in Brazil.

Launch of the Indy Line (Automotive Aesthetics).



2010

Creation of the research and development department within Start.



2011

First national sales convention.

Opening of the sales branch in Goiânia (GO).



2012

Opening of the ethyl alcohol derivatives manufacturing unit (28,320.69 m²).

Opening of the Repet/Revalor recycling center (8,540.68 m²).



2013

Acquisition of land for construction of the new factory (209,470 m²).
Initiation of customized packaging services.
Construction of the first Distribution Center (5,000 m²).

2014

Acquisition of the second area for the new factory, bringing the total to 250,000 m².



2015

Launch of Dr. Start toothbrushes, which later became the Bianco Oral Car brand.

Creation of the HPC line (personal care).



2017

Storage Unit rental (76,225 m²).

Beginning of the new factory construction (Anel Viário).



2018

Creation of the Pet Care products manufacturing unit (600 m²).

Launch of the Oral Care Bianco line.



2019

Beginning of the Unishop project with partner stores.

Beginning of the new factory’s Distribution Center construction.



2020

Covid-19 outbreak boosts Asseptgel production.



2021

Lauch of our first line of chlorine and detergent products.



2022

New Bianco factory and brand relaunch.



2023

Relaunch of the Aquapool product line with in-house production.
Investment in 5 liter pet machinery.
Beginning of the Bianco Line internal production.
Internal production and packaging of Caustic Soda.
Investment in new bottles.
Beginning of the partnership with Usina Clorun - with the construction of the new factory in Uberlândia. 

2024

Activation of the new Distribution Center in the Industrial District.
Awarded the 2030 Today Certification for meeting various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Beginning of the new Administrative Center construction.

OUR IDENTIFY
Our essence starts with our name.

Our name reflects the simplicity that guides our company’s philosophy. We aimed for a name that was catchy and easy to understand. After several drafts and ideas, we chose Start, a name that embodies the beginning of a journey and captures the spirit of our founder, Fábio Pergher. The blue, yellow, and white of our flag blend with the green of the national flag, symbolizing our Brazilian identity, our inspiration from God, and our courage to do more for the future.

Today, our product range is one of the most complete in Brazil.

With brands such as Azulim, Tuff, Asseptgel and others in our portfolio, we are present in homes and businesses across Brazil and South America, competing with major national players. We serve several sectors, including food, mining, automotive, and healthcare, and we also manufacture our own packaging. As a result, we have established ourselves among the top 10 companies in our sector in the country, with numbers that reflect our growth and success.
