We sponsor teams, championships, and initiatives like the Start Volleyball Project, which encourages children to participate in sports across several cities, promoting both learning and enjoyment. We also support sports such as football, cycling, running, beach tennis, swimming, wakeboarding, and Paralympic events. By investing in sport, we reaffirm our commitment to human development and the promotion of essential values, inspiring and transforming lives for a healthier and more inclusive future.

Commitment to animal welfare

This reflects our values of respect and ethics.

We actively work to ensure the protection, well-being, and health of animals in vulnerable situations. We provide financial support to associations and independent caregivers to cover food and other care expenses. When animals are abandoned at our facilities, we partner with NGOs to provide the necessary care and facilitate responsible adoptions, ensuring they find loving homes. Additionally, we adhere to strict practices that guarantee none of our products are tested on animals, upholding high-quality standards without causing suffering.

Circular education

Discovering the sustainable future.

For us, education is a top priority. At Start, we operate locally with a global perspective, supporting initiatives that promote education. One example is a pioneering project by the Lima & Pergher Group: “Circular Education: Discovering the Sustainable Future.” This initiative takes place at our Start and Revalor Recycling factories and aims to raise awareness among students in municipal schools in Uberlândia (MG) about the principles of the circular economy. In 2024, we are excited to see 650 children and young people benefiting from this initiative.

Culture

Support is part of our culture.

For decades, we have committed ourselves to collaborating with the artistic community, participating in the city’s cultural routes and events that inspire thousands. We are proud to sponsor the Uberlândia Municipal Theater, bringing art, festivals and unique performances to the city. Additionally, we support a group of flute players who enchant us with their soothing melodies. We also sponsor festivals featuring rock, samba, pop, and independent art, promoting culture and social development. Our support for communities brings us great joy, spreading the magic of art, knowledge, and culture to every corner of the world. That is how we do it at Start.
