What is it for?

Hold Fire Fire Retardant is a technical high-performance additive formulation designed to stop and eliminate flame propagation by blocking heat transfer to organic matter. Indicated for agricultural and forestry protection, it is highly effective in creating firebreaks and direct firefighting in crops such as sugarcane, savanna, dense forest, corn, and dry cotton. Its biodegradable formula enhances the water used in agricultural aircraft, water tanker trucks, backpack sprayers, and fire extinguishers, dramatically increasing retention time and efficiency in wildfire suppression.

How to use

Ground Application (Sugarcane): Dilute to 1% (10 L of Hold Fire per 1,000 L of water). Ground Application (Dense Forest, Savanna, Corn, or Dry Cotton): Dilute to 1.2% (12 L of Hold Fire per 1,000 L of water). Aerial Application (Agricultural Aircraft): Dilute to 1.5% (15 L of Hold Fire per 1,000 L of water in a prior external mixer). Preparation and Coverage: Homogenize the product before mixing. Stir well in water and wait 30 minutes until the solution becomes homogeneous before applying (do not use saltwater). Every 1,000 L of solution covers approximately 166 linear meters of a 5-meter-wide firebreak. Precautions: Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or inhalation. In case of spills, mark off the area (slippery floor). Store out of direct sunlight in a covered, dry, and well-ventilated area.
